I thought this thing might look goofy in person, but once it’s on with the helmet it actually looks way better than I expected. Fits snug, doesn’t bunch up, and people at gas stops keep asking where I got it.
Used it snowmobiling and was surprised how much it helped against the cold air. Fits under the helmet, keeps my face covered, and still gets a laugh every time.
It looks hilarious in photos and somehow even better in person. If you ride with friends, this thing is worth it just for the reactions.
My main concern was visibility, but the eye opening lines up well and doesn’t mess with my vision while riding.
I wore mine to a meet and it became the running joke of the day. By the end of it, a few guys were asking me where they could get one.
I thought it would feel like cheap Halloween material, but it feels much closer to an actual riding balaclava with a ridiculous old man face printed on it.
Helmet, goggles, gloves and jacket all work normally with it. I expected it to get in the way of my gear, but it’s basically throw it on and go.
